D'OURO holds two places inside it. The salt-aired coast of my home, Conanicut Island, and the remote archipelago of the Azores, where my great-grandfather was born. Portuguese names, a Latin tagline, pure beeswax all anchored in that inheritance. A culture of warmth, old-world and unhurried, brought into the everyday.
