Light is an elemental force. The same force that moves the tides, turns the seasons, and transforms a flower’s nectar into wax. D'OURO candles are made from 100% pure beeswax, raw and sun-born. Each one, a vessel of stored sunlight, crafted in our salt-air workshop carrying the quiet mark of the hands that made it. D'OURO holds two places inside it. The salt-aired coast of my home, Conanicut Island, and the remote archipelago of the Azores, where my great-grandfather was born. Portuguese names, a Latin tagline, pure beeswax all anchored in that inheritance. A culture of warmth, old-world and unhurried, brought into the everyday.

Each candle is handmade, slowly, the old way. Candles that clear the air, warm the room, and make a home feel lived in.
